Loops of Love Cancelled - 16 Feb

Due to the weather Unwind Yarn Shop will be closing at 12:30pm today and the meeting of the charitable knitting and crocheting group Loops of Love will be cancelled for this evening.

The group will plan to meet again, as scheduled, on Tuesday March 2nd from 5-7pm.

Annual St. Patrick's Talent Night!

On Sunday March 14th we will gather for a potluck dinner (if possible, bring Irish or green favorites!). This will be followed by our talent show where we ask you to share your talent: musical, dramatic, humorous, or reading (poetry, etc).

Please let Alisa Clapp-Itnyre know what your performance will be to get on the program by Friday March 12th.

Opportunities from the New Community Project

Many folks in our congregation are familiar with (or involved in) the work of New Community Project (NCP), a group with Church of the Brethren roots seeking to make our world a better place for everyone through community building, education, and environmental awareness.

NCP is encouraging folks to remember the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference that's going on this week. There is a new Email the President page on their website where you can tell President Obama what you are doing or plan to do to turn down the heat on the planet. read more »
