The McKimmys would like to invite you all to a Christmas open house in their new home. Feel free to drop in any time between 2 and 5pm on Saturday, December 13th. There's no need to bring anything; light snacks, holiday music, and plenty of good times will be provided. A limited number of maps are available in the gathering area.
Mark your calendar for December 14 to give additional Christmas cheer to some of our church friends and to sing your favorite carols. Meet at the church at 3pm and we will carpool to selected locations. At 5pm we will return to the church for bowls of hot soup, provided by members of the choir. You are invited to bring other simple foods to accompany the soup.
Our church will be a part of the Progressive Carol Sing again this year
on Saturday, December 20th. We will start at 7pm at the First Assembly
of God (315 National Road West), then proceed to West Richmond Friends, Holy Family Catholic Church, and finish at our building. We will sing three carols at each location and will likely have some special music along the way
All those who are interested are invited to attend a jointly-sponsored Christmas Eve worship gathering at West Richmond Friends meetinghouse at 7pm. In addition to the West Richmond Friends and our church, we will also be worshipping with the First Friends and Clear Creek Friends meetings. Worship will consist of favorite hymns and scriptures to usher us into the celebration of Christmas.
Beginning in January, I will be preparing soup and fresh-baked bread for anyone who would like to share a meal as we come together on Monday evenings for conversation. In addition, our meeting location is also moving to the living room of my new house at 850 Hidden Valley Lane.
The Pastoral Relations Committee will meet on Wednesday, January 7 after choir.
After Fred leads us in an inspiring worship focused on hospitality, he will share concrete skills and tools to enable our congregation to live in a culture of hospitality.
Delicious lunch will be provided, so stick around for food, fellowship and important learning!
