Our congregation has been a part of Doug Veal's path to ministry, having licensed him several years ago. Now as Doug prepares for the next step of ordination, we again are called to accompany him on this personal and professional journey. Doug has been called to serve as interim pastor at Lafayette Church of the Brethren and has been approved for ordination by the South-Central Indiana District. On July 18th, we as a church family will take a moment at the beginning of worship to celebrate with Doug and Tasha and hold a very short congregational meeting to officially vote on approving Doug for ordination as well.
