Every year on September 21st the World Council of Churches encourages people of faith around the world to pause and pray that peace might prevail in our broken, war-torn world.
On Wednesday, Sept. 21st there will be an interfaith peace gathering on the front lawn of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located at 800 N. A St. in downtown Richmond. Starting at 5pm there will be times of worship and prayer alternating with times of conversation, reflection, and fellowship. Bring a chair or blanket and a picnic dinner, if you like. Drinks will be provided.
Anyone is invited to drop-in to attend and participate at any point in the evening

This event is part of a series of peace events spanning the days between the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and the International Day of Prayer for Peace. It is coordinated through Children of Abraham, a local group focused on interfaith dialogue and relationship-building.
